The main objective of the PhD Programme in Sciences and Technologies for Sustainable Development is to train professional profiles capable of integrating sustainability expertise with the technical skills required by specific roles.     This track provides training and fundamental knowledge related to climate change and increasing pollution, as well as research on their impacts on ecosystems and territory. It also covers the energy transition, the decarbonisation of the economy, smart cities and urban planning, including mitigation and adaptation to climatic and environmental changes.

    This track aims to develop skills to accelerate the transition towards a circular economy by innovating production models for goods and services across companies, economic activities and local authorities, while also promoting awareness of responsible consumption.
